Ok, so, the bad news?  The cold isn't gone.  It's been with me all week, and it got progressively worse this weekend when it decided to infect my ear so now i'm down to about 50% in my right ear.  I positively HATE having my ears clogged.  I feel like my brain's packed in cotton and nothing makes sense and i don't want to think or do homework or do anything but pout.

The good news?  Went to the health center this morning, managed to wait in urgent care and got out of there in under an hour and a half (thank god for the cough that woke me up at 8 this morning so i could make it to school early), and i'm now set up with decongestants, antibiotics, and something I've never had - an inhaler.  But hey, whatever works.  The ear hasn't unclogged yet, but I'm hoping by tomorrow the antibiotics will have kicked in.

The FANTASTIC news?  I JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM IES -- I GOT INTO THE TOKYO SUMMER PROGRAM!!  I'M GOING TO JAPAN!!
