Happy to hear your holiday was a good one, dear! Those are always the best times, aren't they? I think I'm still bitter about my dad and stepmum breaking up when they did, because after 15 years, we were just starting to get on really well (and deal with the obnoxiousness of me at 12 years old, ha.) She and I still talk, but it's not the same as if they were a distinct family unit, you know?
Ew, I hear you on morning pain. Mornings should be abolished. You sound *exactly* like me - leave me to my own devices for an hour, and I'll be fine, whatever hellish time it is. In summer I'm usually up with the sunrise, but in winter I'm lucky to make it out of bed by 9am most of the time, and Kim's the sort of person who's all RIGHT LET'S GET TODAY UNDERWAY two seconds after she's out of the shower. Just no.
